The greatest polar explorer
of all time
Roald Amundsen, was an expert in protecting himself and his crew against hostile environments. He benefited from his strict emphasis on proper diet and careful body protection and was the first to reach the South Pole in 1911.
In 1926, he led the first successful expedition to the North Pole with the airship Norge, making him the first person, without dispute, to reach both poles. He is also known for leading the first expedition to sail through the Northwest Passage in the Arctic (1903–1906).
With a strong passion for Roald Amundsen's legacy, we develop all our products based on his philosophy of "preparedness and thorough planning" - products for all of life's expeditions.
